JBT Marel

Partnering closely with LJC Design & Engineering, Coach House worked with commercial interior designers to develop a plant design highlighting JBT Marel’s global reach and industrial roots. A wide variety of plant selections from Orchids, Philodendrons and Begonias greet guests at every turn at JBT Marel’s North American headquarters on the 34th floor at 333 W. Wacker in Chicago, IL. Large perforated steel and stainless steel planters mimic industrial machinery, providing the perfect nod to JBT Marel’s industry. Steel planters were handmade, custom painted and imported from Poland by Bujnie. The oversized steel planters from Bujnie provided the perfect setting and functional furniture aspect, creating room division and capping off work stations. Additional ceramics from Modernica, Light & Ladder and Berg’s Potter paired perfectly with the industrial planters creating a natural and geometric feel. 

Coach House continues to provide ongoing plant care on a regular basis.
